Goshen City schedule released, team will host Chicago Fire Academy and Chicago Nation in Goshen this season

GCFC is set to host two high-profile Chicago UPSL teams in Goshen this upcoming season. The home opener will be on Thursday, April 11, against Chicago Fire Academy at 7:30 pm. The Chicago Fire of the MLS added the team to the UPSL Midwest Central Conference to begin competing in 2024 – the 18th MLS academy team in the UPSL. The team has seen over 25 Academy players get promoted to first-team contracts in its history and has also recently had Academy-product and former first-team goalkeeper Gabriel Slonina sign for Chelsea FC in England for a club-record fee.

Goshen’s second home game will be on Saturday, May 4, against Chicago Nation FC at 7:00 pm. Chicago Nation defeated Goshen City 3-0 in the Midwest Central Conference final last year, and beat them by an identical 3-0 score in the regular season. Both of those games were on the road, but this date will be the first time Chicago Nation comes to Goshen.

Goshen City FC will also host Berber City FC on Saturday, May 11, Windy City Rampage on Saturday, May 25, and Indiana United FC on Saturday, June 8.
